Ars longa, vita brevis

Originates from the work Aphorism of the ancient greek physician and philosopher Hippocrates. It is translated as: “Life is short, (the) art is long, opportunity fleeting, experiment treacherous, judgment difficult. The physician must not only be prepared to do what is right himself, but also to make the patient, the attendants, and externals cooperate”. (with help of wikipedia)

You can find more about this in my first post.

I’m a Dutch med student. In this blog I will write about interesting things I see, hear, read or think and are worth writing about.
